Is there any difference in performance between all-season and all-weather tires for wet conditions?

There is always difference between tires and their performance. There are even differences between the all-season tires and their behavior on wet tarmac. Since all-season tires are designed for a narrower temperature and weather conditions, they will tend to have a better performance than all-weather tires. The all-weather tires will also have to handle snow and ice, which the all-season tires are not designed for.
